Overcoming the fear of dogs in kids (using the KAD protocol)

  • 1 Step

About

1 in 3 children are scared of dogs and, to them, their fear is real and can have a strong and negative impact on their life and their family too. Dogs, nowadays, are everywhere… at the park, at the beach, in shops and even in schools, so kids who are scared of dogs are very likely having to face the object of their fear almost daily. Dog behaviourist and trainer Debby Lucken noticed how problematic this fear can be and designed a successful protocol to help children overcome it. The entire protocol is taught by Debby to all of the Kids Around Dogs approved professionals, who then qualify to work with children and help them conquer their fear. In this webinar, Debby will give you guidance as to what the protocol entails and tips towards helping children who fear dogs.
