COURSES OVERVIEW

APDT Pet Dog Training Instructors’ Courses

Our instructors’ courses consist of two long weekends (Thursday – Sunday).  In 2025 we will be offering a Foundation, Advanced and a Part Two online, and a Foundation, Advanced and Part Two residential course at Moulton College, Northampton.

After each weekend you will receive homework in the form of essays which will need to be completed by a given due date.  You must join online/attend Moulton College on both weekends, submit your homework assignments and read the required books, to complete the course.

Once you are registered, we will send you the course reading list.  We ask you to complete the reading list by the end of the second weekend, but some – like learning theory books – will be particularly useful in answering your first weekend’s homework.  Access to the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Students’ Library is included in the course fee, you just have to pay postage to return the books.

We have a FAQ’s section on our website which should answer all your questions, but if they don’t please email
